Alex has been honored with multiple awards including City Pages Best Entrepreneur Award, the AMEX 100 for 100 list, Bush Fellowship, and Inc. Magazine 100 Female Founder. She holds a Strategic Communications degree from University of Minnesota, where she has been recognized as an Emerging Leader and Above the Fold Award Winner at the institution’s College of Liberal Arts.
When she’s not working, you’ll find Alex bumping Beyoncé until the neighbors come knocking with her two kids and husband in Minneapolis. She’s inspired by fellow female firestarter Audre Lorde’s quote, “I’m deliberate and afraid of nothing.”
